Imaging equipment distributor Alpha Imaging has purchased fellow imaging equipment distributor Medical Imaging Systems (MIS) of Stratford, CT.
The deal allows Cleveland-based Alpha Imaging to expand into the New England states and enhance its imaging equipment sales and service capabilities in the Mid-Atlantic Region, according to the vendor. With the acquisition, Alpha Imaging now provides coverage for 16 states. The company said the MIS sales and service team will remain intact.
Both MIS and Alpha Imaging sell and service digital radiography (DR), CT, and cardiovascular imaging equipment from manufacturers such as Shimadzu Medical Systems USA, Neusoft Medical Systems, Canon USA, Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, and UMG/Del Medical.
