Preliminary attendance numbers for the 2010 annual RSNA meeting in Chicago show a slight increase over last year's conference.
The Oak Brook, IL-based society tallied a preliminary total of 57,084 attendees, compared with an audited total of 56,824 at RSNA 2009. At RSNA 2008, there were 59,181 attendees.
This year's gain was due to more professional and guest registration, which increased to a preliminary total of 35,593, according to the RSNA. The 2009 RSNA meeting had an audited total of 35,110 professional and guest registrations, while the 2008 RSNA meeting had an audited total of 27,586 professionals and guests.
The number of exhibitor attendees at RSNA 2010 declined slightly to a preliminary total of 21,491, compared with an audited total of 21,741 last year.
