The RSNA has published guidelines designed to help attendees meet requirements for COVID-19 vaccination at its upcoming meeting in Chicago from November 28 to December 2.
The RSNA noted that every attendee, exhibitor, and contractor at RSNA 2021 will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination and have their status validated. In order to avoid delays at McCormick Place, RSNA advised that attendees complete the validation process in advance.
The process differs based on whether individuals received their vaccine internationally or within the U.S. Those who were vaccinated in the U.S. can download the Clear app to their smartphone; after confirming their vaccination status they will receive a green Health Pass.
For those who were vaccinated internationally and who received vaccines that have been approved by the World Health Organization, the RSNA advises attendees to use the Safe Expo portal. The validation process through Safe Expo must be completed by November 25.
The RSNA noted that travel restrictions to the U.S. for international travelers will end on November 8. More details on vaccination requirements are available on the group's website.
