OmniCorder adds Karolinska Institute

Infrared imaging technology developer OmniCorder Technologies has shipped its BioScanIR system to Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden.

The system will be used in a number of studies, including an assessment and grading of skin cancer, an evaluation of radiation therapy's impact on microcirculation within breast tissues, and an assessment of the effectiveness of peripheral vascular wound-healing therapies, according to the Bohemia, NY-based firm.
