Philips Healthcare has signed a memorandum of understanding with the University Medical Center (UMC) Utrecht in the Netherlands for a long-term research partnership.
Philips and UMC will develop collaborative research projects in medical imaging for brain disease, cancer, cardiovascular disease, musculoskeletal disease, and pulmonary disease, according to the Andover, MA-based firm. Image-guided oncology interventions will be a key area of focus, Philips said.
