NEW ORLEANS - Sarasota, FL-based startup Morning Star Molecular Imaging is set to open PET/CT centers in Georgia, Florida, and Colorado by year’s end. The firm, headed by CEO Robert Buckhannon, and president Fred Stuvek, said it will be placing the dedicated PET/CT centers in areas it believes have been underserved in access to the modality.
The company, which says it has an executive staff of industry veterans with a combined 70 years of PET experience, will partner with local investors and physicians for center ownership in the geographic regions it serves.
