Alliance Medical has taken delivery of a GE Medical Systems Discovery ST PET/CT for system for use in a mobile trailer, according to the Oxfordshire, U.K.-based company.
The trailer has been designed for mobile PET/CT with on-board dispensing facilities and a 2-bed patient preparation area. The service, due to begin in February, will be available to any hospital that can receive FDG in the U.K., said Alliance Medical.
