Viatronix gets OK for virtual colonoscopy unit

Three-dimensional-software developer Viatronix has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for its V3D-Colon system.

The virtual colonoscopy system was approved as a screening tool for detecting colon cancer, according to the Stony Brook, NY-based vendor.
