Mobile Imaging buys first mobile PET/CT

Healthcare management firm Mobile Imaging Development of Las Vegas has signed an agreement to purchase its first mobile PET/CT scanner through MEI Development of Coral Springs, FL.

The Discovery ST 4 PET/CT scanner from GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., features 2D and 3D PET. GE also will provide onsite training for the staff at the company's Mobile Diagnostic Center.
