Sectra, Siemens to collaborate on PCCT image processing

Enterprise imaging firm Sectra and Siemens Healthineers are collaborating on an effort to enable radiologists to better access and process Siemens Healthineers' Naeotom Alpha photon-counting CT (PCCT) images within Sectra's diagnostic application for radiology.

The integration will eliminate the need for Sectra PACS users to switch to a separate application or workstation for PCCT image viewing, according to the firm.
