Elucid highlights study featuring FFR-CT software

Elucid is highlighting a study presented at the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2026 conference in San Diego that showed the success of the company's FFR-IQ software.

The software achieved 92.9% vessel-level diagnostic accuracy compared with invasive fractional flow reserve (FFR) in the Elucidate study, which included 491 coronary vessels from 347 patients at 11 U.S. and European institutions. It met both primary endpoints, with sensitivity of 92.2% and specificity of 93.1%. In 145 vessels with invasive FFR values in the “gray zone” of 0.75 to 0.85, the researchers reported a diagnostic accuracy of 84.1%, with a mean absolute error of 0.034, Elucid said.

FFR-IQ applies a deep-learning model that incorporates coronary anatomy and plaque composition to existing coronary CT angiography scans to estimate FFR values along the coronary vessels. The study supported the software’s recent U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance, according to the company.
