GE rolls out Innova 4100

GE Medical Systems has started commercial shipments of Innova 4100, a large-format, flat-panel digital fluoroscopy system. The system, which has a 41 x 41-cm field of view, enhances uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) procedures, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor. GE said that the system provides 10 times the contrast dynamic range compared to conventional units. Innova 4100 received Food and Drug Administration clearance in November.
