Digital radiography developer Swissray International of Elizabeth, NJ, has inked sales contracts in nine countries, as well as opening new regional markets in Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
In August, the firm shipped a ddRModulaire DR system to Urumqi Hospital in China’s Xinjiang Autonomous Region, establishing its first clinical site in the country. The company said that other recent Asian ddR system orders include Dong-A University Hospital in Pusan, South Korea, and Sata Jurong Hospital in Singapore.
Its first installation in Latin America became operational last week with the clinical use of a ddRModulaire system at the Inter-American Hospital of Advanced Medicine in Caguas, Puerto Rico. In Europe, Swissray received first-time ddR system orders in Austria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Russia (five sites), and the U.K., according to the company.
