Siemens, St. James to develop cardiac facility

Siemens Medical Solutions and St. James Hospital and Health Centers in Olympia Fields, IL, have signed a five-year exclusive strategic alliance to develop a new Heart and Vascular Institute in Chicago’s south suburbs. The Heart and Vascular Institute will employ imaging technologies from the Malvern, PA-based vendor, and will also perform cardiac research. The institute is scheduled to open in late 2003.
