Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, NY, will introduce a new line of digital radiography systems at the RSNA show. The firm's Q-Rad-Digital line includes three different imaging system configurations.
Q-Rad-IQ is a traditional two-receptor system, with an imaging panel in both an elevating table and a wall stand. The system is available for shipment.
Q-Rad-D is a dual-receptor system with a receptor in the elevating table and a second receptor within a tilting and rotating wall stand, positioned on a horizontal track system behind the table. This is designed for ED situations to facilitate cross-table exams without frequent moving of the patient. This system is available for shipment.
Q-Rad-SQ is a single-receptor system with a receptor within a tilting and rotating wall stand (either fixed or positioned on a horizontal track system) and a mobile, elevating float-top table that accommodates patient weight up to 700 lb.
All systems are available with flat-panel digital detectors from either Canon Medical Systems of Irvine, CA, or Trixell of Moirans, France. Quantum customers can choose panels from either company, the vendor said.
Quantum is also introducing TechVision, a multicolor touch-screen control that gives the technologist tableside control of any of the Q-Rad-Digital systems.
