Multimodality vendor Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA, has made the first installation of its new Kalare digital radiography/fluoroscopy system in the U.S.
The unit is located at Zale Lipshy University Hospital, on the campus of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. The system is designed for general R/F and interventional radiology applications, and is based on Toshiba's EPS Plus CCD-based digital imaging system.
Toshiba will be launching Kalare at the upcoming RSNA meeting in Chicago.
