Digital radiography developer Swissray International has filed a complaint against fellow digital x-ray firm Imaging Dynamics (IDC) related to IDC's hiring of a former sales executive.
The Elisabeth, NJ-based vendor said it filed the complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York in New York City to prevent the misappropriation of its proprietary information, including trade secrets, by former high-level sales official Rick Sbordone and IDC. Sbordone recently joined IDC as senior vice president.
Swissray said it obtained a temporary restraint on November 19, preventing IDC from using Swissray's confidential and proprietary information while it pursues appropriate legal remedies in court.
IDC said that the lawsuit is completely without merit, and that it would defend itself vigorously against the allegations.
