Radiography vendor Quantum Medical Imaging has added two more installations of its new DR system, the Q-Rad-DQ, at Advanced Radiology in Trumbull, CT, and in the emergency department at the University of Alabama, North Pavilion, Birmingham.
The Ronkonkoma, NY-based firm said the Connecticut system was sold and installed by Parker X-Ray Solution Service of East Hartford. The Alabama system was sold and installed by PPX Imaging of Birmingham.
In other Quantum news, the company has appointed Jim Miller as director of digital product development. Miller most recently was DR manager at Bedford, MA-based Hologic and Del Medical Systems Group in Franklin Park, IL.
