Quantum launches new DiRex-SP digital system

Radiology equipment vendor Quantum Medical Imaging of Ronkonkoma, NY, has debuted an upgraded version of its DiRex digital x-ray system, the company announced.

With partner Agfa HealthCare of Greenville, SC, Quantum developed DiRex-SP, which includes an Agfa CR 30 computed radiography system and Quantum radiographic system integrated into one digital imaging package. DiRex-SP is available in three basic system configurations: ceiling-mounted, floor-mounted, and universal.

Quantum has also released its next generation of radiographic systems, Q-Rad Digital, which can be used with portable wired, portable wireless, and fixed detectors, the company said.
