FitTrace updates DEXA app

Software developer FitTrace has released an updated version of its FitTrace Sync mobile app for analyzing dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scans.

Typically, facilities that partner with FitTrace electronically transfer body composition scans to their clients via the app. Now, the app provides analysis of DEXA body composition measurements to users who manually enter data from Hologic and GE HealthCare scanners.

The app is available for both iOS and Android mobile devices and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. The app is free, with manual entry of a scan requiring an in-app purchase, FitTrace said.
