Turner Imaging Systems has launched a new digital x-ray system, the Enduro DR x-ray system.
Enduro DR addresses limitations of current x-ray system construction. It consists of three parts: a portable x-ray scanner that weighs 6 lb; a wireless, glass-free flat panel detector; and a laptop with acquisition software.

The system can be transitioned from handheld mode to being mounted on a tripod or a stand, catering to diverse clinical settings, according to the firm.
