Stereotactic radiosurgery slated for live Web broadcast

Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, is scheduled to present a live Internet broadcast of a gamma knife stereotactic radiosurgery procedure on a malignant brain tumor beginning at 5 p.m. U.S. EST today. The procedure, which can be viewed at http://www.slp3d2.com/waf_1068, is also being offered for CME credit.

Viewers will need Real Player software, which can be downloaded via the Web site, to view the presentation. After the event, an archive of the program will be available for one year, according to the university.
