Interventional device developer Boston Scientific has appointed Parashar Patel to the newly created position of vice president, reimbursement and outcomes planning for the firm’s healthcare strategies and programs group. Patel’s principal focus will be on developing and implementing global strategic and reimbursement and legislative initiatives. He will also be involved in health economics analysis and outcomes research, according to the Natick, MA-based company.
