Bard sales climb in Q2

Interventional firm C.R. Bard reported second-quarter net sales of $354.2 million, up 12% compared with $317.5 million posted in the second quarter of 2002. For the period (end-June 30), the Murray Hill, NJ-based vendor had net income of $49.5 million, compared with net income of $43.9 million a year ago.
