Medical device manufacturer Medtronic has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration for its Driver coronary stent, the Minneapolis-based firm said. The product is a cobalt-based alloy stent and represents Medtronic’s new-generation stent platform, incorporating thinner struts and a lower profile.
