Interventional device developer Boston Scientific of Natick, MA, has named Thomas Grissom as its vice president of government affairs.
Grissom will manage the firm’s Washington, DC, office in the newly created position, and will be responsible for a wide range of global governmental policy issues affecting Boston Scientific and the medical device industry, according to the company. Grissom most recently served as director of the Center for Medicare Management at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Boston Scientific said.
