Accessories provider CIVCO Medical Instruments has introduced a multi-angle bracket compatible with GE Medical Systems ’ M3S and 3S Logiq 9 ultrasound transducers.
Utilizing a two-part system in which a disposable needle is attached to a non-sterile, reusable biopsy bracket, the disposable needle guide offers multiple paths designed to optimize visualization of instrument placement in biopsy procedures, according to the Kalona, IA-based firm.
CIVCO's Ultra-Pro II needle guide snaps into the reusable multi-angle bracket to form a tool to perform needle-guided applications in diagnostic ultrasound procedures, CIVCO said.
