Bard ups Q1 forecast

Interventional technology provider C.R. Bard said it expects first-quarter 2004 earnings to reach $1.02 and $1.04 per share, with a net sales increase of 8% to 11% in constant currency.

Previously, the Murray Hills, NJ-based vendor had said it expected to earn between $1 and $1.01 per share, with a net sales increase of 8% in constant currency. The company’s full-year guidance remains unchanged.
