Medrad lands Baldrige award

Interventional technology provider Medrad has received the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Medrad president and CEO John Friel formally accepted the award from President George Bush and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Donald Evans last week in a ceremony in Washington, DC. Medrad was one of seven organizations to receive the award this year, and was the only recipient in the manufacturing category, according to the Indianola, PA-based firm.
