Boston Scientific launches Sentinol

Interventional device developer Boston Scientific of Natick, MA, has introduced its self-expanding nitinol biliary stent system, Sentinol, to the U.S. market.

The stent has been cleared by the Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of malignant biliary obstruction, Boston Scientific said.
