Cardinal unit to sell Graseby pump in the U.S.

Cardinal Health's Radiation Management Services division has begun distributing the Graseby Medical 3400 Syringe Pump, used to administer intravenous drugs such as radiopharmaceuticals and chemotherapy drugs.

Once the required data is entered into the pump, it automatically calculates the flow rate of the drug, resulting in better dose accuracy and reduced radiation exposure to healthcare personnel, according to Cardinal. Cardinal has exclusive U.S. rights to distribute the pump, which is manufactured by SIMS Graseby of the U.K.
