Healthcare products company Cardinal Health of Dublin, OH, has successfully completed its tender offer for interventional device vendor Alaris Medical Systems of San Diego.
Cardinal reported that the offer expired at midnight on June 25 with some 98.7% of Alaris shares tendered to Cardinal, which plans to purchase all validly tendered shares in a deal worth some $2 billion. Alaris will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardinal on completion of the deal.
