Accessories provider CIVCO Medical Instruments has introduced a laparoscopic cover to fit standard 10-mm laparoscopic transducers (with a 12-mm trocar).
The laparoscopic cover, form-fitting with a latex tip, fits snugly over the standard laparoscopic transducer, and is telescopically folded in an extended length of eight feet to offer a wider sterile field during procedures, according to the Kalona, IA-based firm.
In other news, CIVCO recently introduced new disposable endocavity needle guides for use with Siemens BE9-4 transducers on the G60 S and G50 ultrasound systems.
