Medical device developer Lifeline Biotechnologies has signed a four-year contract for distribution in China of its MastaScope mammary ductoscopy system.
Lifeline inked a deal with Medical Consulting Group (IMCG) of Dallas, giving that company's Shanghai Science Medical Equipment International subsidiary rights to the Chinese market.
MastaScope is an intraoperative ductal endoscope that consists of a fiber-optic flexible scope that is inserted into the duct through the nipple and into the breast. The distribution agreement requires IMCG to purchase a minimum of 100 systems during the next four years, according to Reno, NV-based Lifeline.
