Interventional device firms Boston Scientific and Guidant said that shareholders of each company have voted to approve their merger.
The merger remains subject to customary closing conditions. The companies expect the transaction to close around the middle of April, shortly after U.S. and European authorities complete their antitrust reviews, according to Boston Scientific of Natick, MA, and Guidant of Indianapolis.
