Gamma camera probe developer Neoprobe reported first-quarter revenues of $1.8 million, up 20% compared with the $1.5 million reported a year ago. For the period (end-March 31), the Dublin, OH-based firm had a net loss of $928,000, compared with a net loss of $1 million in 2005.
Neoprobe vice president, finance, and chief financial officer Brent Larson said that the revenue gains were due to continued strong gamma device prices and unit volumes.
