Cordis releases Smart stent

Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Biologics Delivery Systems Group, Cordis has launched its Smart stent for primary stenting in the iliac artery.

The device is the first nitinol stent cleared for primary stenting of the iliac artery, according to Miami Lakes, FL-based Cordis.
