Spectranetics to collaborate with BioScan

Fiber-optic laser catheter developer Spectranetics of Colorado Springs, CO, announced the signing of a research collaboration agreement with optical imaging technology developer BioScan Technologies of Yokneam, Israel.

Under terms of the agreement, the initial phase of the research will focus on combining Spectranetics and BioScan's respective technologies. If feasibility is proven, the project will move into a product development phase, Spectranetics said.
