Suros and SenoRx to bury patent hatchet

Breast biopsy competitors Suros Surgical Systems of Indianapolis and SenoRx of Viejo, CA, have agreed to settle patent litigation between the firms.

SenoRx has modified its EnCor disposable breast biopsy system, which was the target of a patent lawsuit filed by Suros in February 2005. SenoRx said the settlement did not result in any interruption in supply of EnCor to customers.
