Boston nets CE Mark

Interventional device developer Boston Scientific has received the European CE Mark for its Promus everolimus-eluting coronary stent system.

Promus is a private-labeled Xience V everolimus-eluting coronary stent system manufactured by Abbott Vascular and distributed by Boston Scientific. The Natick, MA-based firm said it expects to launch the stent in Europe in 2007.
