Interventional technology developer AngioDynamics of Queensbury, NJ, posted growth in sales and net income for the company's second quarter of fiscal 2008 (end-November 30).
AngioDynamics reported $41.5 million in sales, a 70% increase over the $24.4 million reported for the second quarter of fiscal 2007. The growth in sales includes products from RITA Medical Systems, which AngioDynamics acquired on January 29, 2007.
The firm reported net income for the most recent period of $3.1 million, an increase of 26% compared to $2.5 million in the same period of fiscal 2007.
For the first half of fiscal 2008, net income was $5.5 million, up 26% over net income of $4.4 million in the comparable fiscal 2007 period. Sales for the half were $79 million, 77% higher than sales of $44.6 million in the first half of fiscal 2007.
