Interventional technology provider C.R. Bard of Murray Hills, NJ, has posted financial results for the fourth quarter of 2007 (end-December 31).
For the period, net sales were $583.3 million, up 12% compared to $519.7 million for the same period of 2006. Net sales for the full-year 2007 were $2.2 billion, up 11% compared to $1.98 billion in 2006.
For the period, income from continuing operations was $105.2 million, an increase of 64% compared to the $22 million reported in fourth-quarter 2006 results. For the full-year 2007, income from continuing operations was $406.4 million, an increase of 29% compared to the $272.2 million for the full year in 2006.
