Interventional device developer Boston Scientific of Natick, MA, has inked an agreement with Surgi-Vision of Gaithersburg, MD, for the licensing and development of MRI-safe technology, the company reported.
Under the terms of the arrangement, Boston Scientific will gain access to that company's development resources and will license Surgi-Vision's intellectual property for developing MRI-safe implantable cardiac devices. The two firms will work together to develop commercial applications of Surgi-Vision's technology.
