A 10% gain in U.S. revenues helped boost first-quarter results for interventional device developer BioSphere Medical of Rockland, MA.
Revenues increased to $7.2 million in the first quarter (end-March 31), up 9% compared with $6.6 million in the first quarter of 2007. U.S. revenues climbed to $5.1 million, up 10% compared with $4.6 million in the same quarter a year ago.
The company also posted a net loss of $1.4 million in the first quarter, compared with a net loss of $1 million in the same quarter of 2007.
