Covidien has signed an agreement with Pinyons Medical Technology of Park City, UT, to acquire all of Pinyons' assets related to manual injection and inflation devices for contrast media injections during angiography and interventional radiology procedures, the company announced.
The deal gives Covidien control over all assets related to Pinyons' PowrSyringe Injector and PowrSyringe Monitor, including intellectual property, current and future product designs, and regulatory filings and approvals, according to the Hamilton, Bermuda-based Covidien.
