The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has cleared ClearPoint Neuro's Prism Bone Anchor tool.
The accessory is intended to be used with stereotactic systems for intracranial and neurosurgical procedures and enables positioning of neurosurgical instruments or accessories under image-guidance, according to the firm.
