Toshiba will feature its T. Cam Signature series of cameras at McCormick Place.
Toshiba America Medical Systems will be shining the spotlight on its T. Cam Signature Series of cameras for general nuclear medicine, whole body imaging, nuclear cardiology, and general SPECT studies.
The T. Cam family features the Tustin, CA-based vendor’s e.soft acquisition and processing workstation as well as DICOM modules for rapid access and distribution of images. The pass-through T. Cam gantry has variable angulation and an open design for easier patient access from a gurney or wheelchair, according to Toshiba. Image acquisition advancements such as high-definition detectors and automatic body contouring have also been incorporated into the T. Cam design, Toshiba said.
According to the firm, price points on the T. Cam Signature Series are in the $400,000 range, and the products are available now in the U.S.
