Imaging services provider Miracor Diagnostics reported net revenue of $19.2 million in 2003, up 59% compared with the $12 million booked in 2002. For the year (end-December 31), the San Diego-based firm had a net loss of $1.7 million, compared with net income of $279,000 in 2002.
Miracor had fourth-quarter net revenues of $4.8 million, up 32% compared with the $3.4 million reported in the fourth quarter of 2002. The company had a fourth-quarter net loss of $585,900, compared with a net loss of $154,000 a year ago.
The 2003 results reflected the longer-than-expected turnaround of the six centers Miracor acquired and launched, said CEO Lee Hulsebus. He said that the company will continue to concentrate on revenue growth and capital needs, although its main focus will be on returning Miracor to profitability.
