Preclinical imaging technology developer Gamma Medica of Northridge, CA, has placed its first X-SPECT preclinical imaging systems in Europe.
The Center for Radiopharmaceutical Science, a joint endeavor of the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland, and University Hospital in Zurich, acquired an X-SPECT preclinical imaging system, the company said.
The facility will use the system to further research in the areas of targeted radionuclide therapy of metastatic diseases and preclinical development of new SPECT tracers, according to Gamma Medica.
