Scintimammography developer Dilon Technologies of Newport News, VA, received orders for nine Dilon 6800 gamma cameras in the first quarter.
Dilon 6800 is a high-resolution, small field-of-view gamma camera designed to perform breast-specific gamma imaging (BSGI), a molecular breast imaging technique for the early detection of breast cancer.
The cameras will be installed in various medical centers both within and outside of the U.S., according to Dilon.
